Zarillo and Poppamies are kicking off the year with guaranteed heat! 🔥 In January 2026 (Jan 1–31), we’re celebrating Poppamies Weeks, when our à la carte menu is joined by a seriously spicy Poppamies special menu. The dishes are seasoned with Poppamies’ legendary sauces, and on the tables you’ll find sooses in different heat levels—choose according to your own pain threshold. Locally baked bun filled with Zarillo’s slow-cooked beef seasoned with house BBQ sauce and Poppamies Scorpion sauce, marinated red onions, habanero mayonnaise, pico de gallo, pickled chili, and fresh coriander.

Two 100 g beef patties seasoned with Poppamies Vampire Salt, served with fried mozzarella sticks, Zarillo's Extra Hot salsa, pickled cucumber, pickled chili, salad, and habanero mayonnaise. Accompanied by french fries seasoned with Vampire Salt and coleslaw.

A wheat tortilla filled with crispy fried chicken tossed in Poppamies Fire Demon chili sauce, spicy sautéed bell peppers and onions, and Zarillo's Extra Hot salsa. Topped with Scorpion cheddar sauce, pico de gallo, and fresh coriander. Served with French fries seasoned with Poppamies Sriracha. This dish is seriously fiery! Finish it in 30 minutes without milk, and you’ll earn an exclusive “I Survived Hell Fire” T-shirt! Note: This dish has a high capsaicin content and is not suitable for individuals with respiratory or heart conditions. Participation in the challenge is at the customer’s own risk.

Can you conquer Zarillo’s Hell Fire Challenge?
Finish the challenge dish in 30 minutes without milk, and earn an exclusive “I Survived Hell Fire” T-shirt! Your goal is to eat an insanely spicy tortilla dish within thirty (30) minutes. If you succeed in finishing the challenge dish within the allowed time, you will receive a T-shirt as a reward. If you have allergies, please check with the staff to ensure it is safe for you to participate.

Note: This dish has a high capsaicin content and is not suitable for individuals with respiratory or heart conditions. Participation in the challenge is at the customer’s own risk.

Rules:

Anyone attempting the challenge must sign a liability waiver.
To successfully complete the challenge, the entire dish must be eaten within 30 minutes of being served.
Milk is not allowed during the challenge.

Families are welcome to Zarillo – all kids get their own children’s menu with coloring tasks.

ZARILLO OTAVALANKATU 9, Tampere
Tampere's first Zarillo restaurant opened its doors a staggering 25 years ago. The trademark of Zarillo restaurant on Otavalankatu is the saddle chairs found in front of the counter. The interior of the restaurant was updated in 2004 with the new owner, without touching the original texmex atmosphere. Zarillo on Otavalankatu has 51 customer seats. Our Zarillo restaurant is right near Nokia Areena and the train station. Zarillo on Otavalankatu is located in a great location right next to the new Nokia Areena and the train station. The restaurant on Otavalankatu 9 can be found near the wonderful Nokia Arena, which is an experience arena with 15,000 seats in the heart of Tampere. At Nokia Arena, is held 2023 Ice Hockey World Championships. From Nokia Areena, it is about 200 meters to Zarillo restaurant.

ZARILLO HERVANTA, Shopping Center Duo

Hervanta's Zarillo opened its doors in 2017 in the Duo Shopping Center, in the center of Hervanta, Tampere. Hervanta's restaurant has 85 seats, which enables even large groups to spend the evening together. Hervanta’s restaurant has barrier-free facilities and a children’s playground. The first hour of parking is free in the parking garage of the Duo shopping center.

ZARILLO PUUTARHAKATU 8, Tampere
The third Zarillo Restaurant opened in 2019 in the center of Tampere, close to the Central Square (Keskustori) and near Hämeenkatu, Tampere. The Restaurant has 70 seats, a children's play corner, a separate cabinet room downstairs for 20 people, and unobstructed entrance and a disabled toilet. The restaurant on Puutarhakatu has a terrace during summer.

ZARILLO SASTAMALA, Torikatu 1

Zarillo in the center of Sastamala, at Torikatu 1, Sastamala. The restaurant is located in the shopping center Torikeskus, in the center of Vammala. We have all the menus in the restaurant in english. Take a look at our menu! We also serve lunch on weekdays from 11 am to 2 pm and, of course, special Burger Tuesday prices on Tuesdays. There's also amazing Student discount.

ZARILLO PIRKKALA
The new Zarillo has opened it's doors in the shopping center Veska in Pirkkala, near Tampere on february 2025. Zarillo Pirkkala is located in Veskaan at Saapastie 2, Pirkkala. We have all the menus in the restaurant in english. We serve lunch on weekdays from 10:30 am to 2 pm and, of course, special Burger Tuesday prices on Tuesdays. There's also amazing Student discount.

ZARILLO TURKU
The new Zarillo has opened its salon doors in May 2025 in the center of Turku. The new restaurant is located near the Turku Market Square at Puolalankatu 1. In addition to the menu, the new restaurant in Turku offers lunch on weekdays and, of course, Burger Tuesday offers on Tuesdays. There is a special Zarillo student offer for students! The new Turku restaurant has 80 customer seats and three cabinet spaces.
